Product Analyst for Kinopoisk

Yandex Plus is a unified subscription for Yandex services that provides access to music, movies, podcasts, books, games, sports, and other content. We are actively developing Plus and Fantekh services in Central Asia and the Caucasus, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and other countries.

We are looking for a Kinopoisk analyst in the Central Asia region. You will become an analytical partner for two teams in the region: the product team and the content team.

What tasks await you

Projects with the product team You will work together with the product team to analyze data and find insights to improve the user experience (create metrics, assess the potential of new initiatives, conduct A/B tests, work with the ML team).

Projects with the content team You will participate in creating the content strategy for Kinopoisk. For example, finding answers to questions like what content is currently missing, what content could attract new subscribers. The main goal is to ensure that all Plus subscribers always have something to watch.

Cross-functional work In Central Asia, many Fantekh teams operate with different business goals and analytical tasks. You will establish partnerships with these teams and collaborate to achieve common goals for the macro-region. Additionally, you will communicate with stakeholders (product managers, marketing and growth teams) and with the finance department.

We expect that you

• Have worked in analytics for more than four years
• Are proficient in SQL and Python
• Know statistical tools and various evaluation methods
• Have experience with A/B
