Position: Director of Digital Transformation – Manufacturing
Location: Astana
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in digital transformation or information technology within industrial enterprises;
- Proven hands-on experience delivering at least two large-scale IIoT projects combined with ML/AI solutions, successfully brought into industrial operation and resulting in measurable operational impact;
- Proven experience implementing or significantly upgrading MES / MOM systems in at least one project;
- Experience presenting and defending budgets and programs before senior executive leadership;
- At least 5 years of experience in Director / VP / Chief Digital Officer level positions within a large industrial or manufacturing company;
- Experience managing teams of at least 20 employees, including data specialists, ML engineers, and engineering roles;
- Experience managing external contractors with annual contract volumes ranging from $1M to $5M, including participation in the full procurement cycle (RFI, RFP, contract negotiation and execution);
- Proficiency in Russian and English languages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Company’s strategy for digitalization of manufacturing assets;
- Manage the implementation program for IIoT and AI solutions, including portfolio of initiatives, budgets, KPIs, and timelines;
- Define the data architecture and manufacturing platforms in alignment with the corporate IT architecture;
- Select and manage external contractors; develop partnerships with technology vendors;
- Build internal teams and competencies; transition from outsourced execution models to in-house capabilities where economically justified;
- Communicate program results to key stakeholders.
