We are looking for a Deputy Head of Design to become a key partner to the Design Director.
Responsibilities
- Conducting regular 1:1s with all direction leads
- Monitoring task statuses and deadlines in Jira, escalating risks
- Ensuring uninterrupted processes in a team of 15+ people
- Participating in Gate meetings instead of or together with the director
- Ensuring that design meets the set product goals and metrics
- Gathering feedback from product reviews and relaying it back to the team
- Supporting key projects from task initiation to acceptance of results
- Corresponding with product managers, development, and adjacent teams
- Preparing presentations, statuses, and digests for meetings with CPO and management
- Participating in performance reviews together with the director
- Supporting career paths and professional development of direction leads
- Responsibility for order in Figma: libraries, systematization, access management
- Monitoring compliance with OK design standards and guidelines
- Maintaining documentation of solutions and processes in Confluence
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in design, with a minimum of three years in a lead or team management role
- Experience managing a team of seven or more people
- Experience working on large-scale products: social networks, media, ecosystem services
- Understanding of the full cycle: from research and concept to UI and acceptance
- Strong strategic and systemic thinking skills
- Ability to build processes and work with multiple teams concurrently
- Experience with product metrics and participating in data-driven decision-making
- Skills in hiring, developing, and evaluating designers
- Office visits in Moscow — a minimum of three times a week
