Senior Product Designer for Transportation

In 2016, we launched our auto-navigator. Since then, our transportation vertical has covered all scenarios for people who need to get from point A to point B in the fastest and safest way. We are constantly improving the performance of our navigators, developing interfaces and logic for presenting transport movement information, working on guiding people along their chosen route, and ensuring that in moments of haste and stress, our application brings maximum clarity to the situation.

About Tasks

We have quite a few tasks. Each type of transport, and we already have more than 14 of them (cars, bicycles, public transport, carsharing, taxis, etc.), is unique in its own way. We strive to develop the product evenly, paying attention to each direction. It is important for us that designers not only test UX hypotheses and create convenient interfaces, but also personally experience urban scenarios with the product in hand: get behind the wheel and notice a problem, stand at a stop and check schedule accuracy, ride with a bike navigator instead of on a day off — and then pour their heart and soul into the product to make it truly convenient.

We are looking for a designer with at least 4 years of experience successfully solving product tasks for mobile applications. Experience with cartography and transportation products (taxis, carsharing, metro, urban transport) is highly desirable.

What will you be doing?

• Working with dynamic interfaces and an atomic design system.
• Studying not only the habits and peculiarities of users of transport, but also understanding the structure of transport systems in cities.
• Collaborating with product managers to design and test transportation UX flows.
• Creating and constantly testing hypotheses through real-world application — we spend part of our working time driving, walking, or riding around the city on public transport or scooters.
• Documenting results in mockups and developing our design system.
• Working with maps and improving the graphical representation of transport in the product.
• Being ready for field research with the team in other cities.
• Closely collaborating with designers, product managers, developers, product marketers, and analysts.

What we expect from you?

• At least 5 years of experience in a product team working on mobile applications.
• Experience working on b2c products.
• Experience with design systems.
• Interest in prototyping and the ability to assemble them quickly.
• Interest in transportation systems.
• Clear communication and the ability to listen.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team.
• Experience with maps and transportation applications — will be a plus.
