Responsibilities:
- Promptly resolve issues and find workarounds in collaboration with specialists from related departments;
- Analyze the causes of errors, track dynamics;
- Collect logs, memory dumps, CPU snapshots, and other diagnostic information necessary for error resolution;
- Build CI/CDL/CDP pipelines in conjunction with DevOps engineers;
- Formulate hardware requirements;
- Coordinate the procurement, installation, and setup of hardware;
- Install, configure, and update applications on test stands and for industrial operation;
- Connect and configure monitoring systems;
- Analyze hardware/application load and expand capacity in a timely manner;
- Define operational requirements for applications under development;
- Create checklists and instructions for product support;
- Act as a focal point for teams on technical issues related to Unix/Network Infrastructure.
It would be great if you have:
- Practical experience in supporting systems in industrial operation for at least 1 year;
- Practical experience in Unix (Linux) administration;
- Understanding of basic network principles (TCP/IP) and experience in troubleshooting;
- Understanding of basic principles for improving the performance of used hardware;
- Ability to write Python scripts;
- Experience working with GreenPlum and other data storage systems;
- Experience working with ClickHouse;
- Experience working with message queues (MQ) and Apache Kafka;
- Experience working with ETL/ELT tools, particularly DBT;
- Experience with Data Warehouses (DWH);
- Understanding of how REST APIs work;
- Strong knowledge in writing SQL queries;
- Ability to negotiate task execution with specialists from various areas, track status, and provide information on problem resolution progress;
- Ability to independently prioritize tasks in a multitasking environment;
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes, find relevant information, and propose proven solutions;
- Experience in creating instructions and describing defects;
- English proficiency sufficient for reading documentation and properly formatting code;
- Understanding of the software development process stages.
Will be a big plus:
- Knowledge of Java and understanding of products based on this technology;
- Experience in administering application servers WildFly/Nginx;
- Experience in administering Oracle, PostgreSQL DBMS;
- Experience in building monitoring systems using Zabbix/Grafana/Splunk;
- Experience working with GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket;
- Experience working with Confluence and Jira;
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization principles (VMware/Docker/K8s);
- Experience working with Jenkins;
- Experience in software development/testing.
