We are the Selfwork team, and we are building an AI application for working with freelancers. Our core product transforms the chaos of the freelance market into a clear and manageable process: idea → clear specifications → precisely matched contractors → result. All in one window, via a dialogue with AI.

We are now launching a second direction — Payroll: a service for companies that work with international contractors and want to make payments quickly, transparently, and without headaches.

We have a working MVP: backend, frontend, design base, integrated Stripe and Unlimit, crypto payouts are operational. We need a person who will bring this to a public release: refine the flow, integrate additional payment providers, resolve the legal framework, and launch the first external clients.

Who we are looking for

A person who will take full ownership of Payroll. You will join the product at the MVP stage — with a working system, first paying customers, and the ability to influence everything. Together with us, you will assemble your own small product team. At the start, there will be a lot of discovery and direct contact with clients — you will make decisions and immediately see the results.

For us, it's important:

• B2B experience in fintech, payments, or payroll
• International market experience
• Startup experience or experience in small product teams
• Willingness to work hands-on — from client correspondence to backlog prioritization
• English — fluent

Plus:

• Global payroll (EOR, contractor payments, cross-border)
• Experience with payment providers

Tasks

• Formulate and validate product hypotheses together with the CEO and CPO — come back with numbers
• Determine what to build next: prioritize features based on data
• Design and polish the end-to-end flow: from client onboarding to payout
• Own the backlog and roadmap — assign tasks to the team, remove blockers
• Research and integrate new payment providers
• Communicate with paying clients directly — collect feedback and immediately see how your decisions work
• Work out the legal framework in the required jurisdictions

First 3 months

We have two loyal clients ready to use the product. Your initial focus:

• Launch them fully: onboarding → document flow → payments
• Bring the product to a stable state based on their feedback and your research
• Formulate a reproducible process that can be offered to new clients after the release
