We are developing Yandex Market – a platform for online store owners that helps grow business by placing products in Search.

Our task is to help sellers add as many products to Search as possible and provide recommendations on how to increase sales. Our users are tens of thousands of online stores. We are creating a business platform, but we remember that it will be used by people!

What tasks await you

Platform development and feature launches Yandex Market is an actively developing product, so you will implement new user scenarios and improve analytics for sellers.

Architecture design You will use a microservices architecture, design new features, and improve existing ones.

Stability and code quality You will configure monitoring and alerts, write various types of tests, conduct code reviews, etc.

We expect that you

• Know Go or a similar language
• Are willing to write in Go
• Know basic algorithms and data structures and their areas of application
• Write clean, testable code
• Can find and propose solutions, understand others' code
• Are independent and proactive, enjoy working in a team

It will be a plus

• Know Java or C++
• Have developed microservices architecture
• Have experience with multithreaded programming
• Have created distributed systems under high load
• Have worked with queuing systems, load balancers, logs, monitoring, MapReduce systems
