Hi!
We at WebGears develop web projects, and our main focus right now is EdTech and AI. We are looking for an experienced product manager who will take responsibility for all four products and bring them to monetization.
Responsibilities
Areas you will develop:
- LMS for online schools: video and text lessons, homework, certificates, trials, deferred access, and integration of AI agents for routine automation.
- AI curators: student assistants within the LMS (AI expert directly in the lesson and mentor on the dashboard).
- CourseGenerator: generation of courses and textbooks based on LLM.
- AI career center: career consultant for students and graduates.
What you need to do:
Product and strategy:
- Manage the roadmap and backlog for all four products, prioritizing strictly.
- Study competitors and the market for AI integration in EdTech, bringing new ideas to projects.
AI and ML (most important):
- Decide which part of the work is done by the model and which by regular product logic (hardcode).
- Together with the DS/ML team: formulate tasks for the model, collect evaluation sets (evals), monitor quality, cost, and response latency, select suitable models.
Research and clients:
- Conduct customer development with online schools, course creators, and students. Analyze support requests.
- Work with school clients: onboard them, collect feedback, launch pilots.
Team and analytics:
- Write technical specifications and create prototypes for approval before development begins. Assign tasks to the team and accept the results.
- Track product metrics: school activation, course completion rates, trial-to-payment conversion, AI assistant usage, proportion of generated courses published.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience as a Product Manager in an IT product.
- Successfully launched a product or feature using LLM into production and understanding how to evaluate its quality after release.
- Understanding of LLM product architecture (prompts, RAG, hallucinations, token costs). We don't require coding, but you'll speak the same language as ML engineers.
- Writing technical specifications in a way that the team works without constant clarifications.
- Ability to clearly formulate tasks for designers. Basic Figma skills will be a plus.
- Clear understanding of product analytics, understanding the essence of A/B tests, ability to form success criteria for new features.
- English at a level of fluent reading of technical documentation.
Will be a huge plus:
- Experience in EdTech or with LMS.
- Ability to assemble prototypes using AI tools (Cursor, v0, Claude) faster than others write technical specifications.
- Understanding how AI agents and MCP work.
Conditions
- Format: remote.
- Flexible and comfortable schedule, we value results, not hours spent at the computer.
- Income from $2200–2800 starting + KPI at the monetization stage.
- Regular performance reviews.
- Citizenship and country of residence do not matter.
