Moscow, Remote
Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst who not only provides data extracts on demand but also deeply dives into the business context, can independently understand tasks, propose strong solutions, and defend their results to C-level.
We expect
- You have business acumen. You can get to the customer's true needs, highlight risks, and openly state if a request will not benefit the company, offering an alternative.
- You are independent. You can break down a large task into steps, immerse yourself in the context, and deliver a ready, meaningful result without micromanagement or constant supervision.
- You code confidently. You regularly use Python and SQL at a good level.
- You understand ML in practice. You know how to apply basic models in research (regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting).
- You can tell stories with data. You visualize results effectively and clearly (we welcome AI for presentations) and can convey your thoughts clearly to a non-technical audience.
- It will be a plus if you already have experience in retail or e-commerce.
Your responsibilities will include
- Conducting research for stakeholders and C-level. For example, devising a methodology for evaluating new menu items, detailing the reasons for customer churn, or testing complex hypotheses about promotion effectiveness (causal inference and advanced A/B tests will be useful here).
- Forecasting and digging for the root cause. Performing factor analysis, building forecasts, and finding the true reasons for declines or explosive growth in key metrics.
- Being a full partner for the business. Communicating directly with marketing, business development, and top management: conducting interviews, identifying real pain points, decomposing tasks, and presenting insights.
- Visualizing insights. Creating clear charts in Python to effectively demonstrate insights, as well as developing technical specifications for creating product showcases and dashboards.
- Automating routine tasks. Creating frameworks and tools that will simplify the assessment of business processes for the entire team.
We offer
- Work in a global company with ambitious goals and large-scale tasks.
- The best stack of analytics tools on the Russian market.
- The opportunity to directly influence the business.
- A culture of freedom and responsibility. We value those who are ready to make decisions and take responsibility for them.
- Flexible format. You can work from home or the office in Moscow/Saint Petersburg.
- Transparent conditions, opportunities for growth and development.
- Paid training. Courses, conferences, specialized literature, and co-financing of English learning at Skyeng.
- Employee care. Voluntary medical insurance from day one, including dentistry, and mental health support through Alter.
