Job Description
About the Company
An international fintech company with over 10 years of experience in payment solutions for online businesses: e-wallets, online acquiring, mass payouts, virtual cards, online banking. Over 300,000 clients worldwide.
The BDM will join the B2B virtual cards product team and will be responsible for attracting new partners for its development.
The key task of the role is to find and connect direct virtual card issuers in different regions of the world, including exploring new markets for the product, and building long-term relationships with partners. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the card issuing market, knows how to reach decision-makers through their own network of contacts, and can independently manage the entire cycle of cooperation: from the initial introduction and negotiations to integration, launch, and further relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Search for direct virtual card issuers — banks and licensed fintech companies that issue cards under their own BIN and have direct membership in Visa, Mastercard, or other payment systems.
- Develop a pool of providers for cards used for online advertising payments, as well as for daily and travel expenses.
- Reach decision-makers through personal contacts, referrals, professional networking, and industry events.
- Present the product to potential partners, discuss commercial and operational terms, and clearly explain the company's operating model.
- Manage the full onboarding cycle: onboarding and verification of the company with the provider, agreement and signing of documents, obtaining API access, coordinating integration, participating in testing and launch.
- Coordinate work with internal legal and technical teams.
- Support connected partners after launch: resolve disputes, agree on changes to API and procedures, improve terms, and develop long-term relationships.
- Maintain a constant pipeline of new providers and seek solutions that will give the product more stable conditions and a competitive advantage.
- Represent the company at international fintech conferences, side events, and personal partner meetings.
What we expect from you
- Practical experience with virtual cards and card issuing: understanding the roles of direct issuer, principal member, program manager, and issuer processor.
- An established network of professional contacts in the card issuing market, including among decision-makers on the issuer side.
- Experience in managing full-cycle partnerships: from search and negotiation to onboarding, integration, launch, and support.
- Understanding of the virtual card market, reselling, and the specifics of high-risk segments. It is important to work calmly and professionally in conditions where the requirements of providers and payment systems can change rapidly.
- Experience working with providers in Asia, the UAE, the CIS, and other developing regions will be an advantage.
- Business English for negotiations, correspondence, and document work. Knowledge of Chinese will be a plus.
- Willingness for regular international business trips.
- Strong communication and networking skills: the ability to make acquaintances, build rapport, and establish trusting relationships in formal and informal settings.
- Independence, proactivity, and resilience to uncertainty.
- Focus on long-term results: it is important not only to connect a provider but also to ensure stable collaboration after launch.
What we offer
- Full remote work with no strict timezone restrictions.
- Flexible payment: in rubles, dollars, or euros, depending on your location.
- Employment: sole proprietorship, self-employment, or contract with a foreign company — your choice.
- 13th salary and bonus part.
