Description
The Corporate Block Team at Sber is looking for a professional in business valuation and corporate finance. The segment involves the largest clients and deals of the Central Office, requiring a high level of qualification, deep understanding of business valuation aspects, and industry expertise.
Responsibilities
- business valuation (clients as collateral in the form of shares/equity interests and movable property)
- expert review of third-party valuations, development of requirements (TOR)
- working with financial models, analyzing assumptions, and making own adjustments
- working with business units on deal structure and parameters
- searching for comparables and key valuation benchmarks
- justification of valuation results to business units, external appraisers, and clients
- participation in developing tools and methodology for business valuation.
Requirements
- relevant experience of 2+ years (business valuation, corporate finance)
- communication skills, ability to convey one's position argumentatively and constructively (orally and in writing)
- experience working with information databases and industry sources
- understanding of the stock market, knowledge of key instruments
- ability to work with financial statements (IFRS, RAS)
- general understanding of the corporate client lending process
- industry expertise in specific sectors (we work with all sectors except commercial real estate)
- important – ability to learn, readiness for non-standard tasks
- understanding of Python, SQL basics (desirable) – we welcome the drive to master new technologies
- experience working with AI tools.
