Senior Backend Developer for Insurance Platform (Qazaqstan)
Yandex Care Qazaqstan is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help develop platform components, launch integrations, and scale the infrastructure of our insurance platform. Our team is building a scalable microservice backend integrated with multiple Yandex services. Today, we sell more than 10,000 policies per day, operate under high load, and continue expanding integrations and product functionality. The platform is built using C++, userver, PostgreSQL, YT, and Testsuite.
You will be responsible for
- Launching integrations with partner websites, applications, and internal platforms, including working with APIs, data models, and product flows
- Participating in large-scale integration projects, including designing architecture, developing or extending platform components, and ensuring reliable launches
- Designing and developing reusable platform components such as pricing, scoring, billing, and modules for managing insurance products and contracts
- Implementing new platform components and integrating them into the insurance platform lifecycle
- Solving infrastructure challenges related to high-load systems, including scaling, optimizing data storage, and improving system performance
- Developing solutions for working with large datasets, including efficient search, data separation, and automated testing approaches
- Hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers while contributing to building a strong engineering team
