ROSMEН book publishing house is looking for a Head of Book Department with experience in the children's, young adult, and YA literature segments, who knows how to promote book products in the Russian market.
Responsibilities:
- Independent development of new books and series, approval of the concept for the editorial department
- Management of the current assortment of the department
- Strategic planning for the development of the department
- Formation of the department's assortment matrix
- Monitoring of the Russian and foreign market: competitors, prices, assortment, analysis of market trends
- Preparation and conducting of presentations of new products for employees and clients of the company
- Participation in Russian and foreign specialized exhibitions and conferences
Requirements:
- Experience in book publishing
- Knowledge of the market and understanding of the literary process
- Experience in independent development of products, collections, series is desirable
- Skills in planning, assortment management, and budgeting
- Strategic thinking, erudition, creativity, communication skills, ability to make quick decisions, teamwork skills
- English language at least B2 level
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office
