To the company producing frozen meat semi-finished products Shchelkovo MPC (SK Siberian Collection) is looking for a Head of the Planning and Economic Department.
What needs to be done:
- Manage production economics: organize costing and in-depth analysis of the cost of finished products, taking into account the specifics of raw materials and freezing technologies
- Control enterprise costs: plan-fact analysis of expenses for meat and other raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and labor resources. Strict control and identification of deviations from approved standards
- Analyze yields and losses: control technological balances, analyze recipes, yields of finished products after shock freezing, account for defects and production waste
- Formulate the production budget: compile operational budgets for workshops, defend them to management, and control their execution
- Increase profitability: analyze the profitability of released product lines (SKUs) and assess the economic effect of production initiatives
- Maintain records in 1C: support, audit, and develop the management accounting database on the 1C:ERP platform
- Lead a team: coordinate the work of the department's economists, set tasks, and control their execution
Candidate expectations:
- Higher education in economics / finance
- Mandatory experience as head of planning and economic department or lead economist in the field of deep-frozen semi-finished products and/or meat processing for at least 3 years
- Deep understanding of the specifics of accounting in food production: calculation of raw material costs, norm setting, accounting for cutting/defrosting, natural losses during heat treatment and freezing.
- Excellent knowledge of the architecture and practical experience with 1C:ERP software
- Expert level of MS Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
