Deputy Chief Accountant at 2GIS

2GIS is looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to organize and develop the accounting system.

Responsibilities:

• Organize accounting in a group of companies.
• Develop and improve accounting methodology according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) within the group of companies.
• Regulate accounting processes in accordance with the Russian Federation legislation and business process specifics.
• Monitor compliance with accounting legislation in the current operations.
• Conduct expertise on accounting issues.
• Ensure monthly regulatory period closing.
• Prepare RAS financial statements quarterly and annually.
• Develop the organization's accounting policy and other regulatory documents for maintaining accounting records.
• Support audit inspections.
• Carry out tax planning and optimization within the framework of the Russian Federation legislation.
• Interact with regulatory authorities on accounting methodology issues.
• Participate in the approval of contracts and new projects.
• Interact with group companies on accounting methodology issues.
• Monitor the completeness and timeliness of recording business transactions.
• Manage the team: set tasks, develop and motivate employees.
• Participate in the optimization and automation of accounting processes.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as Chief Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant.
• Higher economic education.
• Experience in successfully passing audit and tax inspections, experience interacting with Big4 firms is a plus.
• Experience interacting with regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in 1C 8 and Excel.
• Excellent knowledge of the Russian Federation legislation and tax legislation.
• Knowledge of IFRS, DipIFR certification is welcomed.
• Experience in optimizing and automating accounting processes will be an advantage.
• Practical experience in building effective accounting and tax policies for a group.
• Responsibility, accuracy, attentiveness, results-orientation, ability to work with a large volume of information, and developed communication skills.
