About the Project
We are creating an EdTech product for schoolchildren that helps them understand complex topics in simple language and study regularly without overload.
Currently, the lead designer is building the product from scratch: forming the design system, UX approach, and visual style. We are looking for a second designer for the team to help develop both the web and mobile versions of the product.
You will work together with the lead designer and developers, design new interfaces, maintain a consistent user experience, and participate in product development.
We value initiative and discussion of solutions. If you see an opportunity to improve the user experience, we expect you to propose an idea and help bring it to fruition.
Responsibilities:
- Design interfaces for the web and mobile versions of the product
- Develop new user scenarios and screens
- Develop and maintain the design system (components, variables, styles, states)
- Prepare mockups for development (Dev Mode, specifications, states, adaptives)
- Work with Figma Components, Auto Layout, Variables, Variants, and libraries
- Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate design, find solutions, and prepare materials
- Collaborate with developers and the lead designer on product development
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and scalability of interfaces
What We Expect:
- Proficient in modern Figma features (Components, Auto Layout, Variables, Variants, Libraries, Dev Mode)
- Experience in designing digital products (web and/or mobile)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, visual hierarchy, composition, typography, and grid systems
- Experience creating adaptive interfaces
- Ability to design various interface states (loading, empty, error, validation, etc.)
- Experience preparing designs for handover to development
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and a systematic approach to organizing mockups
- Ability to justify your decisions and work with feedback
- Willingness to work at a high pace, switch between tasks quickly, and take responsibility for results
- Portfolio showcasing digital product interfaces
Bonus Points:
- Experience with design systems and design tokens
- Experience using modern AI tools to accelerate work on interfaces, research, prototyping, and finding design solutions
- Use of ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Lovable, v0, Galileo, Bolt, Relume, or similar tools in daily work
- Rapid prototyping skills
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and the frontend development process
- Experience with UX testing, user interviews, or user behavior analysis
- Understanding of Accessibility principles (WCAG)
- Experience designing complex interfaces (CRM, LMS, dashboards, tables, filters, roles and permissions)
- Experience working in a product team or startup
