SOCAR Head Office is looking for a Deputy Head for Operations and Process Management Division, Service Management Department.
Main job responsibilities:
- Oversee the timely, high-quality, and competitive delivery of services across SOCAR Group entities
- Supervise and coordinate the resolution of matters arising from joint projects in which SOCAR participates, concerning the relevant SOCAR Group entities within the Segment
- Supervise and coordinate matters related to the establishment and liquidation of entities on behalf of the Segment
- Develop initiatives aimed at process optimization, cost reduction, and enhancing transparency in management
- Participate in the development and implementation of digitalization and transformation projects within the Segment
- Collaborate with relevant structures in planning and overseeing the implementation of capital investment programs
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal regulations, policies, and procedures within the corporate governance framework
- Participate in negotiations with potential counterparties and support the formulation of preliminary commercial terms
Job Requirements:
- Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business management, Law or related field)
- 5 years of work experience as a specialist, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, corporate law or relevant areas
- Awareness of the basic operating principles of the oil and gas industry
- Principles for drafting and implementing internal normative documents
- Fundamental principles of contractual relations and mechanisms for structuring commercial terms
- Strong knowledge of business process management and KPI development, with practical experience in process optimization tools and structured reporting
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of project management is an advantage
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Additional languages are an advantage)
- International certifications in finance, compliance and corporate governance (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CFA, ICA, CGP/CGI, ISO 37301, ISO 37000, CAMS, or equivalent) are an advantage
