Description
Our team, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of the automated system (AS) 'User Remote Connection via VPN' (UserVPN), is looking for a candidate for the vacancy of Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Interaction with external and internal counterparts in the process of developing and maintaining the AS;
- Development of instructions and regulations for the maintenance of the AS by on-duty services;
- Organization, planning, and implementation of AS updates. Participation in testing changes with related departments;
- Expert support of the AS, including in the elimination, analysis, and search for root causes of incidents;
- Preparation of technical specifications for the procurement of services and equipment for the AS;
- Conducting technical expertise of projects regarding AS-related issues;
- Participation in ensuring uninterrupted operation and troubleshooting of the AS;
- Participation in the development/revision of internal regulatory documents and AS standards.
Requirements
- Higher technical education in the field of information technology;
- Knowledge of information security issues in the field of network technologies;
- Understanding of the basic principles of building fault-tolerant systems;
- Knowledge of Linux RHEL, CentOS operating systems at the administrator level;
- Knowledge of computer networks, routing, DMZ, LAN, firewall, NAT, OSI model;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Responsibility and initiative;
- Good communication skills.

- Experience with Enterprise-class VPN solutions (Cisco ASA + ISE + Anyconnect, Amicon);
- Experience with infrastructure components: nginx, haproxy;
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL DBMS architecture;
- Knowledge of HTTP(S), REST technologies;
- Understanding of modern DevOps practices.
