Marketing and Privacy Compliance Specialist

We’re looking for a legal professional to perform marketing and privacy compliance. Our business primarily serves the US market. You’ll work under the guidance of our legal lead, who will set the main legal positions and support you on complex questions. Your initial focus will be on day-to-day content compliance checks and user requests, with product compliance work added as you settle into the role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Check our advertising creatives and landing pages.
• Review advertiser products and pages.
• Handle user enquiries, complaints and privacy requests: maintain a register, coordinate actions and respond in English.
• Update consents, website documents in time.

After you are settled:

• Update privacy policies, terms of use and other user-facing legal wording in line with the approach agreed with the legal lead.
• Help product teams implement agreed compliance requirements.
• Support the team with other legal tasks depending on your experience and workload.

Your Experience:

• A law degree and around 3–5 years of relevant legal, compliance or privacy experience.
• Experience working with digital products, ideally reviewing marketing materials, websites, user journeys or privacy matters.
• Strong written and spoken English. Most documents, materials and user correspondence are in English.
• The ability to understand a rule, apply it to a new situation and explain your reasoning clearly.
• Experience in fintech, adtech, affiliate marketing or lead generation would be useful.
• Russian language skills are a plus, as the team is mainly Russian-speaking.

You don’t need to know US regulations in advance. We’ll provide training, guidance and examples, and expect you to learn and apply them.

Support and growth

You won’t be expected to figure everything out alone. The legal lead will guide the work, review new or difficult questions and provide ongoing feedback. We’ll expect you to learn quickly, handle routine matters within agreed guidelines, spot problems and suggest improvements.

As you build experience and demonstrate sound judgement, you may take on more responsibility and eventually own specific compliance or privacy areas. The pace will depend on your readiness, interests and the needs of the business.
