AO «Elektrqisloqqurilish» (Tashkent) — a subsidiary of Stroyenergoholding — is looking for a Relay Protection and Automation (RPA) Design Engineer.
We are seeking a specialist who combines RPA design and practical commissioning. The candidate must understand not only how to develop a schematic in EPLAN but also how it will be assembled, checked, tested, and put into operation at a substation.
Responsibilities:
- Development of design and working documentation for RPA for 110/220/500 kV facilities.
- Design of RPA secondary circuits in EPLAN Electric P8.
- Development of schematic, functional, logical, installation, and cable diagrams.
- Development of logical algorithms for operation of protection, automation, and interlocks.
- Design of control, signaling, and operational current circuits.
- Design of secondary circuits for CTs, VTs, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and other equipment.
- Development of secondary connection diagrams for RPA cabinets.
- Design of RPA cabinets and control panels in EPLAN.
- Development of algorithms and logic for automatic reclosing (APV), automatic transfer switching (AVR), fault recorder logic (UOV), interlocks, power system stabilizers (PA), and other automation functions.
- Development of interaction diagrams between RPA devices and with the SCADA system.
- Preparation of terminal plans, connection tables, cable logs, signal lists, and specifications.
- Analysis and adjustment of design solutions based on the results of commissioning and testing at facilities.
- Interaction with RPA engineers, commissioning specialists, installation engineers, and SCADA specialists.
- Participation in design supervision and resolution of technical issues at facilities.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education in "Power Engineering", "Relay Protection and Automation", "Electric Power Plants and Substations", or similar fields.
- At least 3 years of experience as an RPA Design Engineer.
- Experience in designing 110/220/500 kV facilities.
- Practical experience in designing RPA secondary circuits in EPLAN Electric P8.
- Proficient in EPLAN Electric P8.
- Ability to independently develop:
- schematic diagrams;
- functional diagrams;
- RPA logical diagrams and algorithms;
- installation diagrams;
- cable diagrams;
- terminal plans.
- Deep understanding of RPA secondary circuits and principles of operation of protection and automation.
- Experience in designing circuits for CTs, VTs, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and operational current.
- Experience in developing logic for APV, AVR, UOV, interlocks, and emergency control automation.
- Practical experience in RPA commissioning is a mandatory advantage.
- Understanding of the process of checking and testing secondary circuits and RPA devices.
- Ability to analyze commissioning results and make necessary changes to design documentation.
- Knowledge of normative and technical documentation in the field of RPA and power engineering.
Will be an advantage
- Experience working at 110/220/500 kV substations.
- Experience in commissioning microprocessor-based RPA terminals.
- Experience with EKRA, BMRZ, Sirius, SIPROTEC, MiCOM, ABB/Hitachi Energy, Siemens, and similar equipment.
- Experience with SCADA systems and telemechanics.
- Experience in developing and checking PA logic.
- Experience in design supervision directly at facilities.
- Knowledge of requirements for оформлением of design and working documentation.

- Remote work is possible, but with business trips to Tashkent;
