LIMÉ, a women's clothing and accessories brand, is seeking a Chief Accountant (UAE).

Responsibilities:

• Organization and maintenance of local accounting and tax records in strict accordance with UAE legislation, alongside management accounting in accordance with head office requirements.
• Control of settlements with suppliers: timely reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, control of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Coordination and close interaction with the Treasury Department and suppliers on issues of settlements, reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
• Control of company bank account transactions, including multi-currency reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Accounting for import and export operations, ensuring compliance with currency control requirements.
• Close interaction and coordination with the Head of Tax on VAT issues; control of timely VAT return submission and tax payment obligations.
• Organization of work with primary documents (preparation and verification of documents, electronic document management, formation and maintenance of electronic and physical archives).
• Analysis and optimization of accounting processes, including automation of document flow and movement of documents between systems.
• Preparation and provision of accounting documentation to regulatory bodies, support for audits, and interaction with inspection authorities.
• Consulting company employees on accounting and tax matters.
• Active participation in the implementation and support of the 1C - FirstBit accounting information system.

Requirements:

• Higher education (Economics, Finance, Accounting).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant; international financial and operational experience.
• English: confident spoken and written level.

Software: 1C:FirstBit, 1C:Complex Automation, MS Excel — advanced level.
