Yandex hires frontend developers through MultiTrack — a 7-week program for experienced frontend developers. Participants are not assigned to specific projects but instead take turns trying themselves out in different teams, where they meet people and get acquainted with products and technologies. This system has many advantages.

Variety

During MultiTrack, an employee deals with different technologies, systems, and tasks: BEM development and ReactJS, unit, regression, and functional testing, localization, analytics, and experiments. You can spend a couple of weeks in a small internal startup and then move to a team involved in industrial development.

Networking

While working on tasks, the candidate meets a large number of colleagues from different departments. This way, they learn who they can turn to in the future for help or with an unusual question.

We expect you to

• Have at least four years of experience in client/server web development
• Be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/HTML/CSS
• Possess a broad technical outlook that is not limited to interface development
