The group of Russian technology companies YADRO is looking for a Senior Project Manager.
Key Tasks:
Manage the portfolio of options, compatibility lists, and configuration rules for YADRO servers:
- Participate in the development of the configuration logic for server products – form requirements, coordinate implementation options.
- Interact with the testing team on server platform and component compatibility verification, track status, and control results.
- Formulate, populate, and manage server platform compatibility lists, maintain a database of marketing SKUs, and control microcode versioning.
Provide technical consulting to internal company divisions:
- Technical consultations for internal clients (sales, pre-sales, partner department, etc.) on product architecture specifics, edge and/or non-standard configuration issues, requests for new functionality using non-standard components, selecting analogues, etc.
- Support the product team in interactions with production and service for incident investigation in production and "in the field," and for the launch of new products.
We expect from the future team member:
- Understanding of the architecture and application areas of modern x86 architecture computing systems, as well as current IT market trends in general.
- Experience in the x86 server segment, preferably in a pre-sale engineer/manager or product manager role.
- Result-oriented, not process-oriented.
- Ability to analyze tasks and propose the best solution considering the business context.
- Ability to independently form solution options.
- Desire to create and develop the best servers on the Russian market.
- Experience in independently managing a product segment in a distributor/integrator/other partner company will be a big plus.
- Experience assembling specifications for Supermicro/Intel or reassembling DELL specifications will allow faster immersion into the department's processes.
