We are now looking for a Product Manager (Payments infrastructure) ready to influence the user experience of millions of people.
📌 Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Payments/Fintech: You understand how money moves from a user's click to settling in a bank account.
- Technical background: You can freely read Stripe/PayPal documentation, understand what Webhooks, API Response Codes, and ISO 8583 are.
- Knowledge of payment method specifics: Understanding of card schemes, tokenization, and alternative payment methods (APMs).
- Experience with Routing/Cascading: You know how to minimize losses from bank declines and what to do with "Insufficient funds".
💥 Must have experience with:
- Orchestrators - Primer, PayRails, Upgate, Recurly, etc.
- Payment systems - Stripe, Braintree, Checkout, Adyen..
📌 Will be a plus:
- Experience with Primer.io or similar orchestrators
- Experience with PCI DSS certification
📌 Your tasks:
- Subscription Engine: Designing and developing the logic for recurring payments, plan management, trials, and dunning management.
- Routing & Cascading: Configuring and optimizing smart transaction routing between acquirers to increase Success Rate.
- Integrations: Deep work with Stripe, PayPal, and other provider APIs.
- Orchestration: Working with payment orchestration (experience with Primer will be a huge advantage) to build flexible payment scenarios.
- Tokenization & Security: Managing card tokenization strategy to ensure security and a seamless UX.
- Analytics: Monitoring payment metrics (Churn, ARPU, Authorization Rate, Decline Reason codes).
