Sofis (7DAYS) cosmetics manufacturer is looking for a Head of Procurement and Logistics to take full end-to-end management of procurement, inventory, and logistics in an international context.
Areas of Responsibility:
Foreign Economic Activity (FEA) Procurement:
- Organization and management of procurement in China, Korea, France
- Contract manufacturing sites, raw materials, components, packaging
- Negotiations with suppliers, contracting, delivery terms (Incoterms)
- Monitoring delivery times, costs, quality, and risks
- Supplier pool management, diversification, and dependency reduction
Russian Federation Procurement and Production:
- Procurement from Russian suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Production site load planning
- Cost of goods sold, timelines, quality, and compliance with brand requirements control
Inventory Management and Planning:
- Development and improvement of procurement and inventory planning systems
- Inventory turnover management, reduction of frozen capital
- Overstock/out-of-stock control and balancing
- S&OP process setup (Sales ↔ Production ↔ Procurement ↔ Logistics)
- Demand, seasonality, and SKU portfolio analytics
- Collaboration with sales, e-commerce, and international teams
Warehousing and Delivery:
- Management of warehouse logistics in the Russian Federation and Europe (including 3PL)
- Organization of domestic and international delivery
- Selection and control of contractors (warehouses, transport, fulfillment)
- Optimization of the logistics model (cost/speed/reliability)
- Goods flow control from production to customers and marketplaces
- Implementation of warehouse operation standards and KPIs
Team Management:
- Approximately 15 people in direct and functional subordination
- Department structure formation (procurement, planning, logistics)
- Management team development, goal, and KPI setting
- Process transformation and automation (ERP/WMS/analytics)
Key Role Objectives:
- Build a sustainable, transparent, and scalable supply chain
- Reduce logistics and procurement costs without compromising service levels
- Ensure the business is supplied with goods "at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right price"
- Support the growth of international sales and e-commerce
Candidate Expectations:
- Experience managing procurement and logistics in high-turnover companies
- Experience with FEA procurement (Asia/Europe)
- Experience in inventory management and planning in a trading and manufacturing company
- Management experience (teams of 10+ people)
- Strong analytical skills, systems thinking
- English language proficiency from B2 (Upper-Intermediate) – working level
- Experience in process automation and transformation is a significant advantage
