A federal retail chain of stores Dobrotsen is looking for a Logistics Director.
DOBROTSEN is an international discount retailer. The Logistics Director is a key CEO-1 level management position reporting directly to the owner. The role involves developing and implementing the company's logistics strategy, developing distribution infrastructure, and improving the efficiency of the entire supply chain amidst large-scale business growth.
Key Tasks:
- Developing and implementing the logistics department strategy across the chain,
- Managing the entire logistics function: planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling processes.
- Developing and implementing a standard distribution center (DC) model, including warehouse topology.
- Launching logistics in new regions, participating in DC openings.
- Interacting with and managing 3PL operators.
- Defining and implementing key logistics performance metrics (KPIs).
- Budgeting and managing warehouse logistics costs.
- Describing, optimizing, and implementing business processes (including cross-functional processes with commerce and operations).
- Optimizing supply chain costs considering regional specifics.
- Leading strategic projects for the development of logistics infrastructure.
- Analyzing DC topology, calculating throughput and load.
- Building financial and economic models for logistics projects.
Requirements:
- Higher education (logistics, supply chain management, or related fields).
- At least 5 years of experience as a Logistics Director / Supply Chain Management Director (preferably in grocery retail).
- Experience managing a distributed warehouse network.
- Practical experience with 3PL operators.
- Mandatory experience launching DCs of 15,000 m² or larger (including multi-temperature warehouses).
- Experience with alcoholic products and state information systems.
- Experience implementing WMS systems.
- Strong analytical skills and systemic thinking.
- Experience in business process reengineering.
- Proficient in Excel, 1C.
- Willingness to make decisions under uncertainty and take responsibility.
- Developed managerial and leadership competencies.
