Job Title: Software Engineer (GEN AI)

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is hiring Software Engineers (GEN AI) for its enterprise technology and AI practice. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, vector databases, and modern AI frameworks. Engineers will work with business stakeholders to identify AI-driven transformation opportunities and build scalable production-grade solutions.

The role involves developing AI applications using Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn, along with deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Candidates will also work with MLOps, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes while contributing to AI governance, security, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery sessions and stakeholder discussions to identify AI-driven transformation opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend solutions using Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Automation.
• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications using LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases.
• Develop and optimize AI/ML models using Python and machine learning frameworks.
• Implement prompt engineering techniques to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Design scalable AI solutions, APIs, and microservices with architecture and integration teams.
• Deploy and manage AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Establish and maintain MLOps practices using MLflow, Kubeflow, Databricks, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Support UAT and validate business requirements.
