Avito Work Team Lead, Analytics

About the team: Avito Work's main ambition is to become the market leader. We are actively developing our platform for employers and job seekers, finding new growth points, and creating cool solutions. We are looking for an Analytics Team Lead for the Employer&TnS&MNZ unit. The unit is responsible for developing three areas:

• Employer Experience. We strive to make our product convenient for everyone to use, from small businesses to companies of federal scale.
• Trust and Safety. We increase user trust in the platform by providing job seekers with truthful information about employers.
• Monetization. We are developing paid services for our clients.

Examples of future tasks: — Lead a team of 6 analysts, create and maintain processes within the team; — Conduct analytical research, initiate and lead new projects; — Adapt fraud prevention systems, common to all of Avito, to the specifics of the labor market; — Create models of the connections between employer actions, the distribution of job seeker responses among them, and the purchase of paid services.

It would be great if you: — Have at least 2 years of experience managing an analytics team; — Can build systematic descriptions of complex subject areas; — See the connection between mathematical formulas and their impact on business; — Can clearly visualize data and present research results, explain complex things in simple terms, and negotiate with colleagues; — Know and can apply mathematics and statistics in solving real-world problems; — Are proficient in SQL; — Have experience with ML; — Are proficient in Python and its data analysis libraries.
