A mining company is looking for an experienced Manager to lead the implementation of AI solutions as part of a large-scale digital transformation.
If you know how to turn artificial intelligence capabilities into measurable business value, this position is for you. You will manage the full spectrum of AI initiatives: from identifying AI application points in business processes to scaling successful solutions in production. This role is at the intersection of technology and business — you will be the link between technical teams and business units.
Responsibilities:
Project and product management:
- Managing the AI project portfolio from idea to implementation
- Forming and prioritizing the AI initiative backlog in collaboration with the business
- Coordinating the work of internal teams and external contractors
- Preparing projects for the AI Investment Committee
- Monitoring deadlines, budgets, quality, and compliance with requirements
Stakeholder management:
- Identifying AI application points in the company's business processes
- Gathering and analyzing requirements, managing customer expectations
- Presenting solutions and results to management
Solution evaluation and implementation:
- Analyzing the AI solutions market and assessing their applicability to the company's tasks
- Feasibility studies and ROI calculation
Organizing pilot launches and scaling
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- 3+ years of project/product management experience in AI/ML
- Understanding of the AI solution lifecycle — from idea to production
- Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, multi-agent architectures (at the level of understanding capabilities and limitations)
- Skills in feasibility studies and AI project efficiency assessment
- Ability to form technical specifications and evaluate the quality of technical solutions
- Proficiency in methodologies: PMBoK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
- Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Desirable:
- Technical background (Python, understanding of machine learning and deep learning pipelines)
- Experience in implementing AI in industrial companies
- Knowledge of the specifics of construction or engineering in the mining industry
- Experience organizing hackathons and innovation programs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, on-premise infrastructure, MLOps
