We are opening a retail point of sale for alcoholic products with an active online store. Currently, our IT infrastructure (a combination of Odoo and 1C) is undergoing active implementation under the management of a project manager. We are looking for a technically proficient specialist to join the team at the launch stage, delve into the logic of the processes, and after commissioning, take full control of the system's uninterrupted operation.
Tasks (Phase 1: Participation in Implementation and Acceptance):
- Participate in work processes with the project manager: dive into the project architecture and the logic of data exchange between Odoo and 1C.
- Establish direct communication with external development teams.
- Record and document processes, regulations, and accesses for subsequent independent administration.
Tasks (Phase 2: Operational Support and Control):
- Monitor the quality of work of external developers after release.
- Independently perform initial problem localization during failures (API, data exports) before assigning tasks to developers.
- Ensure the fault tolerance of the retail outlet: support POS equipment, office equipment, set up uninterrupted local network and backup internet channels.
- Administer personnel workstations, manage access rights.
- Information security: control backup of databases and the virtual server.
Our Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a system administrator or IT coordinator (experience with e-commerce or POS equipment is a big plus).
- Basic understanding of web integrations (how websites and accounting systems communicate) and the ability to read logs.
- Critical thinking: you should be able to find the root cause of a failure, not just forward screenshots from the cashier to the programmer.
- Languages: Fluent GEORGIAN — mandatory (for working with staff and service providers). Russian and English — mandatory (for reading technical documentation and communicating with developers).
