LLC «Latextid» is a technology company from Tomsk developing its own digital products.

Our areas include a domestic online LaTeX editor for preparing scientific and technical documents, digital services for the real estate sector, and solutions for premium custom orders.

We are looking for a full-time DevOps engineer to help ensure the reliable and secure operation of our products' infrastructure.

You will work with several digital services and different types of infrastructure tasks: application deployment, containerization, CI/CD, Kubernetes and GitOps, monitoring, backup, and secure execution of user tasks in an isolated environment.

Responsibilities:

— maintain and develop the infrastructure of several web products; — configure application build, delivery, and deployment processes; — work with Linux servers, Docker, and CI/CD; — support application deployment in a Kubernetes cluster; — participate in the development of GitOps processes; — work with Argo CD and Helm charts for managing service configurations and releases; — participate in building a secure infrastructure for running user tasks in an isolated environment; — configure reverse proxy, SSL certificates, domains, and network parameters; — organize logging, monitoring, and backup; — analyze the causes of failures and improve service stability; — document infrastructure solutions and workflows.

Important Schedule Condition:

Planned new version releases are performed at 08:00 Tomsk time / 04:00 Moscow time. For this position, you must be prepared to participate in releases at the specified time.

We expect:

— at least 1 year of experience in DevOps or system administration; — confident knowledge of Linux and Docker; — understanding of networks, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and SSL; — experience in configuring CI/CD and deploying web applications; — basic understanding of Kubernetes: Deployments, Services, Ingress, Namespaces, Secrets, and ConfigMaps; — understanding of the GitOps approach and the purpose of tools like Argo CD and Helm; — readiness to work with a Kubernetes cluster, understand service configuration, and develop deployment processes; — understanding of server and container security principles; — independence in problem-solving and accuracy when working with the production environment.

Will be a plus:

— practical experience with Kubernetes; — experience configuring Argo CD and supporting GitOps processes; — experience developing and supporting Helm charts; — experience with Nginx and PostgreSQL; — experience in setting up monitoring, centralized log collection, backup, and data recovery; — understanding of sandbox environments, process limitations, and secure execution of user code; — experience working with the infrastructure of multiple products.
