🌍 Head of Logistics Department (Foreign Economic Activity) | Skolkovo
Our client is a dynamically developing company in the financial services sector (public-private partnership), specializing in supporting export-import operations and cross-border payments. Due to business expansion, we are looking for a Head of Logistics Department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics department team — set tasks, coordinate work, improve department efficiency.
- Develop and implement an international logistics development strategy.
- Develop sales of logistics services to existing clients and ensure revenue growth.
- Formulate competitive logistics solutions for clients with import-export operations.
- Expand the network of partners — carriers, forwarders, shipping lines, terminals, warehouse operators, customs representatives.
- Conduct negotiations and agree on commercial terms.
- Improve logistics processes, search for new routes, and optimize supply chains.
- Analyze the international logistics market and prepare management reports.
Requirements:
- Mandatory experience in international logistics companies, transport and forwarding companies, or logistics brokers.
- Experience in leadership positions in international logistics and foreign economic activity — from 5 years.
- Practical experience in organizing multimodal transportation — sea, rail, road.
- Deep understanding of foreign economic activity processes and accompanying documentation.
- Experience in building a partner network and negotiating with international counterparties.
- Understanding of the economics of logistics projects.
- English language — Upper Intermediate.
