Position: System Analyst
Location: strictly Russian Federation
Level: Middle+/Senior
Salary Range: 250-350k gross via Private Entrepreneur/Labor Contract
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements, conduct interviews with stakeholders;
- Transform business needs into functional and non-functional requirements;
- Design new microservices and enhance existing ones;
- Describe integrations and APIs, prepare OpenAPI/Swagger specifications;
- Develop UML, BPMN, Sequence, and ER diagrams;
- Participate in architectural solution design with architects and developers;
- Maintain documentation in Confluence and task assignments in Jira.
We expect:
- At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst in an insurance company/products;
- Experience with microservice architecture;
- Practical experience in designing REST APIs and working with Swagger/OpenAPI;
- Integration experience via Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers;
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, Saga, API Gateway/BFF;
- Proficient in UML, BPMN, and ERD;
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams;
- Daily use of Jira and Confluence.
Would be a plus:
- Experience in the insurance industry (Compulsory Third Party Liability Insurance, CASCO, claims settlement);
- Knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design);
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes at the service interaction level.
