The team designs graphical interfaces for configuring and monitoring hardware products: storage systems, servers, switches. These are complex management systems with high data density, where visual clarity and ease of working with a large amount of information are important. In parallel, we are developing a design system and a UI component library, as well as designing interfaces for the company's internal systems. This is the specifics of the vacancy: we need a designer who is interested in technical graphics and working with an engineering audience.

We are expanding the team and opening a search for a UI/UX Designer Intern.

What you will do:

— work with the design system in Figma: fix broken components, create new ones, maintain clean layouts, filter out duplicates and non-functional elements;

— design screens for web applications: from sketches to interactive prototypes;

— prepare technical illustrations, diagrams, and auxiliary graphics;

— assemble layouts in such a way that developers have minimal questions about implementation;

— participate in acceptance testing of implementation.

We expect from the future team member:

— a portfolio with works that demonstrate a sense of composition, rhythm, and taste in working with typography and color;

— strong proficiency in Figma: components, auto layouts, variables, working with libraries;

— understanding of the atomic approach in design systems;

— basic understanding of UX and principles of designing user-friendly digital products;

— independence and the ability to quickly find solutions without constant supervision;

— communication skills and the ability to quickly find common ground with developers and other designers;

— sharp-wittedness, the ability to grasp things quickly and ask the right questions.

Will be an advantage:

— art education or specialized training (art school, graphic design);

— experience in graphic design: branding, posters, print materials;

— skills in micro-animation or creating interactive prototypes in Figma / After Effects;

— ability to use neural networks for work tasks: generate references, sketch illustrations, speed up routine operations.
