VK Реклама helps businesses launch and analyze advertising campaigns across VK products. We are developing interfaces for advertisers and want every step – from campaign creation to results review – to be clear, consistent, and user-friendly.
We are looking for a beginner UX editor with a strong foundation in text work and an interest in product tasks. It’s important to us that you already know how to work with text consciously: notice ambiguities, be able to simplify complex ideas, explain your choices, and view wording from the user's perspective. We will help you improve your UX editing skills within the team – with the support of an experienced mentor and regular reviews.
Important: This position is open for 1 year due to employee replacement. If a suitable position becomes available later, cooperation may be continued.
Responsibilities
- Write interface texts. Work with product managers and designers on user scenarios, create texts for new screens, and improve existing ones.
- Understand exactly what the user needs to understand and do at each step, and choose wording that helps them complete the scenario.
- Remove unnecessary elements, simplify complex information, and make texts clear, consistent, and concise.
- Supplement guides. Document successful solutions, identify gaps in guides, participate in updating instructions, and help the team maintain a unified style across all interfaces.
Requirements
- Attentive to details, notice inconsistencies, and are not afraid to ask questions.
- Write correctly and spot errors in text.
- Know how to write simply, accessibly, and concisely.
- Able to receive feedback and are willing to learn from edits.
- Interested in UX and want to develop specifically in product editing.
- Familiar with Figma or ready to quickly master basic workflows in it.
Will be a plus
- Have already worked as an editor, content editor, author, or copywriter.
- Have worked in the UX field.
- Have educational or pet projects that can be showcased.
- Know English well – from B2 level.
- Can explain why one wording is better than another from a user's perspective.
