About the role

We are looking for an editorial manager for Foxford's brand media "Sila Lisa" — a magazine for teenagers about studying, career choice, relationships, internet culture, and adult life.

Your main task is to develop editorial (creative) sections in the media and enhance article distribution through self-promotion channels (email newsletters, social media, app, special projects) and paid promotion.

Important nuance! We are looking for an editor for a temporary maternity leave position for a short period (approximately until October 1st). If our previous editor decides to return to this position, we may continue our collaboration with you as a freelance author.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of authors to ensure uninterrupted publication of articles in the magazine: monitor deadlines, edit texts, provide feedback to authors;
• Coordinate the work of the content manager responsible for layout and publication of materials;
• Manage content distribution channels;
• Interact with the SEO team to increase traffic;
• Study the target audience and cater to its needs;
• Develop a content plan: formats, sections, article topics;
• Plan and implement product integrations and content lead magnets in brand media in collaboration with the product marketing team;
• Measure metrics and analyze results;
• Generate and test hypotheses

What's important to us

• More than 1 year of experience as an editor;
• Literacy;
• Understanding of product approach principles: we don't create content for content's sake, we regularly measure metrics and analyze results.
