Android Developer at Market

Our team develops and supports advertising tools UrbanAds: we create ads for Yandex Market and in the Yandex Go app. Advertising helps promote products, and our team makes sure the advertising is functional and useful. Our responsibility includes banners, product carousels, video ads, and pop-ups.

We develop a microservice in Kotlin and write what thousands of users see every day using the BDUI framework DivKit.

What tasks await you

Main activities You will be engaged in developing and supporting advertising in various corners of Market and Yandex Go: on the main page, in search results, on product pages, and in feeds.

Ensuring optimization and stability Part of our work is performance optimization: advertising should be not only beautiful but also fast. You will analyze application performance metrics, write unit and E2E tests.

Support and development of the BDUI microservice You will be responsible for monitoring the operability and stability of the microservice, as well as implementing Yandex's common technologies.

We expect that you

• Have developed native Android applications for more than three years and have excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Can analyze and solve performance problems, write clean and maintainable code
• Are able to understand other people's code and find problems in it
