Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join the VK Tech team for an implementation project. The main task is to prepare project documentation according to GOST standards and to support product implementation.

📍 Work format: remote / hybrid 🌍 Location: Russian Federation, time difference not more than 2 hours from Moscow time 💵 Salary: from 120,000 RUB.

Responsibilities

— Create and update project documentation in accordance with GOST R 21.101–2026 — Prepare documentation package for product handover and acceptance — Work using Docs as Code approach with lightweight markup — Collaborate with developers, architects, implementation and accessibility engineers — Independently test documentation and the product from an end-user perspective

Requirements

— At least 3 years of experience in technical documentation development — Mandatory experience with GOST R 21.101–2026 — Experience in preparing project documentation — Proficient in Git — Experience with lightweight markup languages in the Docs as Code approach — High IT literacy — Excellent oral and written communication skills — Ability to present information in a structured manner — Strong communication skills

Bonus points

— Experience in operating or documenting OpenStack, VMware, AWS, GCP, or other virtualization platforms — Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, C#, Lua, or other programming languages at the level of reading and understanding code — Experience as a developer, system administrator, or implementation engineer
