Junior Data Scientist for the X5 ad-hoc analytics team. Development of methodologies and tools for effect estimation when classic A/B tests are not applicable.
Tasks:
- End-to-end development of methodologies and tools for effect estimation in cases where classic A/B tests are not applicable
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in the DS field
- Background in Causal Inference / econometrics
- Understanding of endogeneity, confounders, instruments, DAGs, colliders, mediators
- Knowledge of modern approaches to analyzing cross-sectional and panel data (Doubly Robust Estimators (AIPW), DiD, TWFE, IV)
- Ability to write clean and structured code in Python, knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of SQL, ability to build optimal queries, familiarity with the Hadoop stack will be a plus
