We are the Yandex Advertising Products Division. Our technologies help over 600,000 businesses grow, attract customers, and increase sales. This is one of the largest and most technologically complex advertising systems in the world, where every decision impacts millions of impressions.
Your role will be split between two key areas. Half of your time will be dedicated to supporting the annual partnerships team: data analytics, building models for pricing and discount calculations. The other half will be spent in the project office: you will take on major projects to optimize business processes across the entire division (500+ people), such as implementing a ticketing system or digitalizing workflows.
We are looking for a strong analyst who knows how to not just read data, but transform it into concrete actions and working solutions, tangibly improving processes around them.
Support for annual partnerships You will dive into data to calculate economically sound terms for major annual contracts. You will need to create and update dashboards, build models in Excel (including VBA) to analyze partnership performance and prepare pricing proposals. Your analytical work will become the basis for strategic decision-making.
Management of cross-divisional projects You will take the initiative to launch and manage large-scale projects that affect all employees of the division. For example, moving key processes to a tracker system or their complete digitalization. This requires deep immersion into business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing non-standard solutions to eliminate them.
Analysis and optimization of internal processes You will continuously study team operations, identify growth points, and propose improvement initiatives. This can relate to anything: from optimizing internal reporting to creating new tools for colleagues. You will be the one who asks, "How can we do this more efficiently?" — and finds the answers.
Working with stakeholders and communication Your main stakeholders are internal teams: annual partnership specialists and analysts. You will need to clearly communicate conclusions, argue for proposals, and gently but persistently lead projects to implementation, ensuring the involvement of all participants.
