Team Lead of Business Analysts

The Yandex Verticals team is looking for a manager for the monetization analytics group. We help grow the Avto.ru business in all regions of Russia. If you are proactive and interested in developing analytics that directly impacts the company's revenue, generating ideas for experiments, and critically analyzing incoming tasks, this job is for you!

Perhaps the most important aspect of this position will be combining business vision and a product approach in analytics. You will lead a team that looks for growth points in the product, develops new business models together with the commercial team, and implements them.

What tasks await you

Current Monetization You will analyze big data to evaluate the effectiveness of service features and find growth zones. Additionally, you will need to segment clients and offer them a more suitable set of services or commercial offers.

Research You will put forward hypotheses based on the results of your research. For example, studying the effectiveness of core clients and proposing ways to improve it, experimenting with real clients and improving their performance and profitability metrics.

Global Directions It is very important to determine fundamental directions for business growth. For example, figuring out how to better engage clients in using various platform functions.

We expect that you

• Have relevant experience in data analysis
• See the business meaning behind the numbers
• Have a good knowledge of mathematics and basics of statistics
• Are proficient in SQL and Python
• Have experience leading a team of analysts for at least two years
• Understand how to turn business requests into analytical tasks and projects
• Take a proactive position and are not afraid to defend your point of view to any clients
• Are able to clearly present and explain research results
• Generate ideas and strive to influence business
