Data Analyst for the Payment Analytics Group
Every day, users of Yandex services pay for goods and services. Our team analyzes the payment process, searches for and studies problems and anomalies in payment data. Among other things, we look for causes of low conversion into successful payments caused by problems on the partner side (acquiring banks).
What tasks await you
- Analyze and interpret statistical data on financial activities
- Study the causes of transaction deviations at various stages
- Communicate with representatives of payment systems and acquirers to resolve issues in the payment processing
- Develop recommendations on how to improve financial activities based on a dataset of transactional activity
We expect that you
- Have a technical, mathematical, or economic education
- Program in Python and know SQL
- Have worked with large datasets
- Are able to see the physical meaning behind numbers and find the causes of phenomena
- Are able to structure and clearly explain information
- Are ready to communicate with partners and banks
- Are ready to constantly learn and master new technologies and approaches
- Understand the principles of payment systems operation (this will be a plus)
