PayBox Analytics Team Lead in FinTech

PayBox is the FinTech button (Yandex Pay and Split) on our partners' websites (Lamoda, L'ETUAL, etc.). It is a key entry point into Yandex FinTech outside its ecosystem, and we see great growth potential here. We are looking for a PayBox analytics team lead who will help systematically and rapidly develop our business with partners.

What tasks await you

Team management You will be responsible for the full team lifecycle: from hiring and developing employees to forming and prioritizing the backlog. Your task is to turn ideas into concrete analytical solutions that help the product and business achieve their goals.

Analytics You will be responsible for product analytics (studying audience behavior, formulating hypotheses, designing and analyzing experiments) and business analytics (optimizing partner offers, evaluating campaign effectiveness, and providing recommendations on how to improve it). In addition, you will need to build reporting and metrics that ensure transparency, growth control, and correct decision-making by the team and the business.

We expect you

• Have experience leading a team of analysts and understand how to build effective team operations
• Love mathematics and confidently master key areas of probability theory and statistics
• Know SQL and Python, can apply them in daily analytical work, and are open to mastering new tools
• Have worked with BI tools (we use DataLens)
• Have conducted A/B tests: from design and launch to interpreting results
• Understand how to measure, analyze, and optimize promotional budgets
• Can find product and business meaning behind data and clearly communicate findings to different stakeholders
• Can argue and defend your position, listen to others, and seek the best solution
• See value in quality communication and can build it in a way that makes working with adjacent teams productive
