"Making Room For One More."

I think it’s time I found someone to work alongside me at Prosperitiv. Not an employee, and not another agency.

I’m looking for a freelance Marketing & Systems Generalist who can become properly involved in the business, initially for around 12 hours a week.

There are really two reasons:

Since taking over Prosperitiv in June, more of my time is naturally going into running the business, working with clients, developing ideas, exploring partnerships and figuring out where we take things next.

But we’re also simply getting busier.

Existing clients are growing and asking us to do more. New projects are coming in. And the work itself is changing quickly as AI, automation and new technology become increasingly useful parts of what we do.

Prosperitiv isn’t a startup. We’ve been around for years and have an established client base.

But I suppose this next phase has a little bit of startup energy about it.

One day we're working on SEO or a website. The next it might be content, CRM, LinkedIn prospecting, an automation workflow, an AI experiment or some completely unexpected client problem that needs figuring out.

And that's really the sort of person I'm looking for.

Someone who can write, someone who is comfortable with technology, organised and curious. Someone who enjoys working things out rather than waiting for a 27-page instruction manual.

There’s another reason this means something to me.

Back in 2016, I was living in South Africa and working remotely as a freelancer for the UK business I now own.

What started as freelance work became a long-term relationship, more responsibility, more opportunities to learn and eventually a much bigger role in shaping the company.

Ten years later, I took it over from my mentor, Rob Thomas

He gave me an opportunity at a point in my life when it genuinely mattered. I’d quite like to give someone else a good opportunity too.

So I’m not necessarily looking for the person with the longest CV or the most certifications. I’m looking for someone intelligent, capable and dependable who wants to learn the clients, understand how we work, contribute ideas and gradually take more ownership.
