Today AstraZeneca is opening a vacancy for a Data & BI Analyst in the Preregistration department.
In this role, you will participate in projects on data structuring, analysis, and visualization, as well as process digitalization using modern AI tools. You will work at the intersection of analytics, automation, and business processes, helping teams make decisions based on data and modern digital solutions.
Key challenges and tasks:
- Participate in projects on digitalization and automation of research processes.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare data from various sources.
- Develop analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations for the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency using analytics, automation, and AI tools.
- Formalize, prepare, and lead the development of business requirements in collaboration with internal customers.
- Create and test prototypes of digital solutions using AI and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Support users of analytical solutions and participate in the development of a data-driven culture within the team.
You are an ideal fit if you have:
- Higher education in data analytics, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, IT, engineering, medicine, or related fields.
- Analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Interest in data analytics, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.
- High learning ability, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility for results.
- Understanding of data visualization principles and analytical reporting.
- Interest in using AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) in daily work.
- Basic experience with data, analytical tools, or personal projects will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Python will be an advantage.
- Skills in interacting with internal customers and teamwork.
- English language at an Intermediate (B1) level or higher.
- Experience or interest in clinical research, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.
