Founding Designer

What you'll do

• Shape and grow the design function across both brand and product.
• Own the visual design of our products, mainly relating to end-to-end buyer and seller experiences on the marketplace.
• Create visually compelling sales and marketing materials (static and video) that will be consumed by hundreds of thousands around the country.
• Work closely with marketing and engineering to ship high-fidelity designs.
• Talk to customers and use data, research, and iteration to continuously improve user experiences.
• Help us build out our design team, and dive deep into areas that you find more interesting as we grow.
• Ability and willingness to work in-person in NYC.

Who you are

• A creative designer comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment.
• Expertise in UX, with a deep understanding of user flows, interaction design, and usability.
• A sharp eye for visual design and detail-oriented.

We started by serving fire departments, where buying mission-critical vehicles and equipment used to take months of paperwork, phone calls, and waiting. We automate the entire transaction: payments, freight, paperwork, warranty, and financing. Months become minutes. In under a year, we now serve local governments across all 50 states and have grown revenue >10x.

Qualifications

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
