Our team of engineers is building a data warehouse for the needs of Yandex Market's business units. We are looking for an experienced data engineer to implement complex technical deliveries. We expect you to be familiar with Python, SQL, and Unix-like systems, and to have designed DWH. Experience leading a team and working in e-commerce will be a plus.

Yandex Market is one of the largest multi-category marketplaces, used daily by millions of people. Our teams help customers purchase goods without leaving home and receive orders across the country, and help partners develop their businesses, increasing sales and attracting new customers.

We are a team of data engineers, and our product is a Data Warehouse, which we are building for the needs of business units. Our users include both Market managers who need reporting for decision-making, and experts in deep data analysis. It can be argued that all Market business units are consumers of the data we provide.

Technologically, the core of the warehouse is built on YTsaurus and ClickHouse data storage systems. ETL process development is done on our own framework, created within Yandex. Our data warehouse is currently one of the largest in Russia - around 30 petabytes - and given the business growth rate, it promises to become the largest. High reliability requirements are placed on it, which presents our team with non-trivial tasks for which there are no ready-made solutions.
