We are looking for an analyst who will help us work with data from various marketing areas. You will interact a lot with performance and product marketing teams, our travel media PSGР, and others.
Initially, there will be many diverse tasks: from checking data quality and refining reporting to small research projects and product analytics. Therefore, we need someone who is interested in understanding different contexts.
We are also open to data and product analysts without deep marketing experience who are interested in developing in this direction.
What needs to be done
- Work with data from various sources: check their quality, find reasons for discrepancies, create data aggregates, and help connect new sources;
- Develop and maintain analytical infrastructure: work with dbt models, set up tests and alerts, monitor the correctness of key data and metrics;
- Support and refine reporting for marketing teams: improve existing dashboards, check the correctness of calculations, automate reports, or set up one-off data exports;
- Assist various marketing teams with ad-hoc requests: build funnels and cohorts, analyze user segments, calculate metrics, and conduct research;
- Participate in tasks at the intersection of marketing and product: analyze product funnel conversions and landing page effectiveness, devise metrics for new launches, work with product events, design and conduct A/B tests;
- In the future – participate in more complex and large-scale analytical projects, for example, evaluating the effectiveness of offline activities;
- Communicate with internal clients, help them understand data, and translate their questions into understandable analytical tasks.
What we expect from you
- At least 2 years of experience as a data, product, or marketing analyst;
- Proficient SQL skills: JOIN, CTE, window functions, aggregations, date manipulation, and the ability to understand existing code;
- Python knowledge at a level sufficient for solving typical analytical tasks: pandas, numpy, basic visualization;
- Good data handling skills: ability to conduct EDA, find anomalies and discrepancies, check data quality, and perform sanity checks on results;
- Basic understanding of how DWH and ETL processes work; experience with dbt and Airflow will be a plus;
- Knowledge of statistics and understanding of A/B testing principles;
- Ability to visualize data and work with BI tools;
- Interest in marketing analytics and readiness to dive into its specifics;
- Ability to switch between different tasks and contexts and independently learn new data and tools;
- Experience with Spark SQL / PySpark / R, as well as with advertising account data will be a plus.
