Nornickel is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for Investment Deals.
The Nornickel legal team is seeking a lawyer who is interested not only in working with individual investment agreements but also in building the contract management system for the entire Group of Companies.
This role is suitable for those who want to do more than just support deals, but also to form unified approaches, influence the quality of the contract function, and create processes that will operate on the scale of a large industrial company.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will:
- Participate in the development and evolution of a unified methodology for concluding investment agreements
- Formulate and describe contract management processes for investment projects
- Implement unified approaches in subsidiaries and branches
- Prepare standard solutions, standards, and approaches to contract management
- Support the preparation and legal review of investment agreements (EPC/EPCM, construction, design, equipment supply, and others)
- Advise internal teams on contract management issues
- Interact with departments and subsidiaries in coordinating contractual solutions
- Prepare legal opinions on investment activities
- Participate in developing solutions for complex and contentious issues within deals
- Analyze the practice of applying contractual approaches and participate in their development
We would be glad to see a specialist in the team who has:
- Experience with investment agreements in construction, contracting, or supply
- Understanding of contract management in large companies and holding structures
- Experience supporting complex agreements and multi-level approvals
- Systemic and analytical thinking
- Ability to not only describe processes but also implement changes
- As an advantage - experience in developing methodology, standards, or unified approaches to contract management
