Project Manager (Department of Strategy)
What you will be doing
Alfa-Bank is looking for a leader who can turn strategy into action. This role is part of a next-generation strategy office where analytics, operational execution, and change leadership converge. You will be responsible for the full cycle of implementing key strategic initiatives, from formulating hypotheses to defending results before the Management Board. This position is for those who can manage complex projects, influence business decisions, and work with top management on an equal footing. Key tasks:
- Managing the full cycle of strategic projects: setting goals, defining scope, organizing working groups, synchronizing functions, and defending results at the CEO/Management Board level
- Initiating and implementing vector development initiatives — from new business models to AI implementations
- Supporting the implementation of AI initiatives into strategic processes
- Building and analyzing financial and economic models, calculating effects and risks
- Challenging business hypotheses, KPIs, and initiatives — assessing applicability, maturity, and impact
- Preparing presentations and analytical materials for strategic committees and the Management Board
- Performing ad-hoc tasks at the request of the CEO and members of the Management Board
Our requirements for candidates
- Experience in strategic consulting (Tier-1/2), corporate strategy, or banking
- Experience in independently creating solutions based on GenAI, skill in using tools in work (Claude code, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritize, and control deadlines
- Strong analytical and structural approach: ability to turn complex data into management insights
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ability to prepare top-management level materials
- Understanding of the economics of various business areas (finance, product, digital, sales, AI)
- Experience interacting with top management and managing cross-functional teams
- Ability to formulate and defend a position, achieving real decisions
- Strategic thinking + operational precision — see the system and deliver results
- High level of independence, responsibility, and self-discipline
- Critical thinking, maturity, managerial courage
